The school district has completely changed the science standards. They are more rigorous and very heavily technology based. The "ideas for lessons" are almost all online based software programs. The science students have been overlooked by our school AGAIN, while the world has an ever increasing need for scientists. We do not have the online access that has been promised to us numerous times. Most of the students I teach do not have the resources to get online at home. These tablets would enable us, as a class, to perform new and exciting tasks and games that have been especially designed for this generation. I can't even begin to explain to you the difference these tablets would make in these wonderful kids' lives and futures!
