Having options for flexible seating in my classroom will enable my students to be more successful and ready to learn. I have found that students love having options for seating, such as wobble stools, yoga balls, stadium seats and bean bag chairs.
They are more engaged and willing to participate in activities.
During our stations routine, they always reach out for the alternate seating options. This has been the only time we have utilized alternate seating and I am eager to have it as an option throughout the entire school day!
As a teacher, I want my students to feel at home, safe and comfortable in my classroom and flexible seating will accomplish this. The opportunity to provide flexible seating in my classroom means my students are comfortable, being able to "wiggle" and move around in an appropriate way while staying on task doing their work.
We would all love your support for our classroom!
