My Students will be using the STEM kits as a resouce to create challenges and how to solve them. These kits contain hands on activities that provide students, especially English Learners, more concrete understanding of the engineering principles in a more enjoyable way. The STEM kits also serve as instruments for the ELL students to show how much they know even when they haven't master their English language yet, in the same way, the STEM kits will be used to introduce new vocabulary. The STEM kits will provide more independent work during Center time because they can work on their own with little or none help.
