This conversation can go on for so long. While it seems like a small thing, kids want to be comfortable while learning and creating. As a writing teacher, I feel like it's my job to make my class relaxed and open.
By providing students with a space in my classroom where they can be their authentic selves, they will be inspired to create and progress to the next level of bossed up greatness.
My students need the bean bag chair and rug to provide a comfortable place to sit while they enjoy the wonders of teaching and creating their new writing pieces. Students will also have a chance to get the work done while they sit in the corner by working at the table. You can be comfortable while sitting, but in order for this corner to work, they also need utensils to create with!
