The resources that I chose for my project will give my students the tools and resources to Escape the Math classroom. For preview and review lessons the students will put their problem solving and teamwork skills to the test to unlock the clues to solve the mystery to escape.
Students will take part in problem solving and mathematical modeling review activities in the setting of Escape Room context. The locks and storage boxes that are being requested will serve as the main resources to complete the activities. Students will be given mathematical problems in which they will work as a team to solve. The solution to each problem will lead to a clue that will give the code to unlock a box for the next clue. Students will continue problem solving and using clues to unlock the boxes until all of the boxes are open. Once the last box has been opened, the group has officially "escaped" the classroom.
