I am the lucky recipient of a Google grant to obtain a STEM teaching certificate through the University of St Thomas. I am a huge proponent of project based learning and the integration of all subject areas. Why can't math be considered a fine art? There is beauty in math and a creativity necessary for elegant proofs. New City School is an arts integrated school. Being a charter school, funds are limited. Your giving will leverage my teaching to reach a population that has 40% qualifying for free and reduced lunch.
