I have been using GoNoodle videos with my students to get them stretching and moving as the school day begins. Many enjoy this, but not everyone can relate to the characters in GoNoodle since they are geared more towards younger students.
My students would like to make their own videos to lead my class and other middle school students in stretching/movement sessions that they can actually relate to. When my students are leading these videos, they will be representing the diversity in our school. They will also use movements that other students in our community will be able to relate to. The process of creating these videos will get my class moving, and once we create the videos others will have the opportunity to view and follow along with the videos to get moving as well!
