All of my students want to become voracious readers. To become a voracious reader, students need to read books that are at their level and often. Unfortunately, we have a very limited leveled library of books for students to learn and practice from. I am not able to provide a book during a lesson for each student in my guided reading group.
If this project was funded, I would be able to use good fit books to match with individual students to maximize learning. Students would have a better chance in increasing their fluency and comprehension because they would have more opportunity to read books that they can understand.
