An area that most students struggle with in 4th grade is staying focused and finding a place within the classroom that helps them attend to the task they are working on. My students are required to sit in ordinary chairs that force their bodies into unnatural , static positions, resulting in long-lasting physical discomfort. My classroom is small and with 23 students in it reduces my options for alternative seating areas outside of their traditional desk and chair.
Wobbly Chairs are the best option to increase focus, improve students core muscles and all this wobbling is done without distracting others.
Providing my students with flexible seating arrangements along with different work areas give students choice, flexibility and the motivation to stay on task! I am asking for 10 wobbly chairs and two wobble cushions to share among my 23 students.
