The students in my classes typically dislike math class because they lack the skills necessary to be successful. It is very important for me to make my class as engaging as possible. Any time I can incorporate color and more textile learning my lessons are much more effective.
In particular, I will be using the requested notebooks, markers, pencils and scissors to create interactive notebooks and foldable items that will be easily accessible to my students. Students begin to learn how to take notes for the first time in my classroom. It makes it much easier and engaging when they get to use these materials. I will use folders as a means to show students the work they have accomplished and teach them organizational skills they generally lack.
