My classroom is a place where students think critically about the world, and celebrate each other. Through my history and criminal justice classes, students explore the current state of the world, how it got to be this way, and how to make it the way they think it should be. Madison High School is the most ethnically, racially, and linguistically diverse school in Portland Public, the largest school district in the Pacific Northwest. We celebrate the more than 40 languages spoken in our classrooms, and students from all over the planet.
