Due to such a packed schedule for our long school day my students do not get very much time to play outside and move around as they need to. It is incredible important that my student get every chance they can to move around because they are at an age where they are growing so much. Having Hokki Stools in the classroom can guarantee that my students can stay focused on their work while they wiggle around and get a little bit of exercise.
These stools will allow my fifth graders to wiggle, wobble, and move around to their heart's delight while working in a small group setting, group projects, or even silent reading! Even as an adult I have such a hard time sitting for a long period of time, so it wouldn't be fair of me to expect that from 10-11 year olds. As of right now, I always give them the option of standing and working, but sometimes that just isn't enough. Hokki stools would be the best solution!
