Kindergarteners love listening to stories! I would love to have a listening center for them to listen to even more stories while I am teaching small groups.
My students need a CD player and headphones in order to listen to all of the stories we have.
Over the years I have purchased stories for each of the units I teach and my students have loved listening to new stories with the use of the CD player. Unfortunately, our CD player and headphones broke at the end of last year and the school is unable to supply another one.
I am hopeful that you or someone you know will be able to help my future students and donate to help our class get a new CD player and headphones. With your help my students will build vocabulary and increase their literacy skills, and I will be able to provide access to higher level text, foster independence, supplement content curriculum, and supply a variety of genres for my students to enjoy.
