Classrooms are filled with distractions. Large class sizes of 30-33 students pose additional challenges for communication. Students, who can't clearly hear or understand their teacher, attention can wander or become frustrated. My diverse group of learners include students with ADHD, a variety of learning disabilities, ELL learners, and at risk factors.
A voice projection system allows teachers to focus on what they are saying, not if they are being heard. Every student in a classroom should be able to hear clearly regardless of where they are in the classroom. Classroom audio systems result in greater intelligibility and comprehension by reinforcing the speaker's projection.
Voice projection systems can benefit students by improving academic achievement, attention to verbal instruction, increasing on-task behavior, and improving comprehension. It also benefits teachers by reducing vocal strain and fatigue.
