My students need games and activities that focus on phonics, grammar, comprehension, and writing, as well as math and science manipulatives to explore with at Learning Center time. I am requesting materials for phonics, grammar, and math based folder games that students can utilize in small groups during center time and ELD pull out groups. I'm also hoping to find a new listening center as well as some furniture items (a bean bag chair and desk caddies to hold center materials) that will help add to the students' access to hands on learning during centers and small group time. Our students will use these materials to access their abilities through building, reading, counting, critical thinking, and exploring. These activities will be used during Learning Center times throughout the day while learning together. They will be able to use these manipulatives during our whole group and small group time, building knowledge and working with classmates. Your generous donation to our project will improve our 2nd grade classroom by building stronger readers, mathematician, and writers. This will change our students' lives for the better. They will love school and feel success at an early age --- having fun while learning.
