These kits will be used to empower my middle school library students to let their creativity shine. They will be used as part of the maker space movement that started in my library last year. I also plan on using them during late start Mondays with bus students who arrive to school an hour before the school day starts.
Collaborating together to learn, create and build is a great way for students to break down social, ethnic, and socioeconomic barriers while learning about science and having fun. I can't wait to see all the unique designs and projects that my students will display in the windows of the library.
