In my class, we write constantly. My students are in great need of dictionaries to complete many of their assignments and essays. Our class dictionaries were lost in the Great Flood of 2016 in southeastern Louisiana.
The aid of a dictionary can be the difference between good writing and great writing. My students have the potential to be great writers but need help in expanding their vocabularies. The dictionaries and book cases to store them on, as well as other books necessary for an ELA class to run smoothly, will be a great help in turning them into great writers.
