I am requesting new tables for my Art classroom. The current ones are particle-board, covered with contact paper. The contact paper gets scratched, then pealed; the exposed area still has an adhesive residue which collects dirt, glue, and paint, making it difficult to clean. The exposed areas are not as smooth as the table should be, this causes "issues" when students are working on projects.
New tables for the Art Room would provide quality areas for students to explore, imagine and create works of art. The current tables are dirty and are difficult to get and stay clean.
Students are having to deal with uneven surfaces that can affect the quality of their artwork.
