Our playground has very little for students to pretend play. What we do have is starting to break down and we need new items. In pre-k pretend play is huge part of learning through play. These items will help my students develop friendships and their social emotional skills.
Developing gross/fine motor is also a huge part of Pre-k. If we have more to play with outside this will allow us the opportunity to spend more time outside learning and growing. Having more play equipment will also lesson the number of arguments that happen over the most wanted areas to play.
