In this classroom, staying in seats for too long causes students to become antsy! With this new mobile whiteboard/ anchor chart easel, students will have access to anchor charts and a whiteboard all around the room! That means students can learn on the carpet, at team tables, or even at the small group table while using comfy crate seating! Engagement can be one of the most challenging aspects of education. Sometimes something as simple as a change of scenery can spark student interest. This mobile easel will allow teachable moments to become more effective. It's hard to teach a lesson when resources are not easy to access in a way that flows with the lesson. Our anchor charts are currently held with pushpins to the back of a retired library bookshelf that I turned into a stand up desk. Teacher's are resourceful people, but each time a teacher has to stop a lesson to make limited resources fit the situation at hand, engagement is lost.
