The iPads will be utilized in all aspects of the day. My students are non-verbal. This technology will help them in many ways. Communication is a very important part of education. I will use the iPads to teach my students social skills. The applications that I will download will help with emphasizing the academic skills that are taught in the classroom. The iPads will help the students become engaged and participate in classroom activities. The iPads will help with the behavior of the students in my classroom. Students with Autism become easily frustrated and have meltdowns because they are unable to express their needs and wants. The iPads will help these non-verbal students communicate and reduce these stressful moments in the classroom.
