I have 322 students that LOVE to play soccer. It's truly their favorite sport and having soccer goals would make a huge difference in the way they're able to play. Our school currently has no soccer goals, inside or out. When the kids play at recess or in the gym, they use cones or pretend there are actual goals. Having goals would not only make the game better but it would allow the kids to learn how to play the game accurately and the way it was intended. The majority of my students are low-income and can't always always afford to play on sports teams outside of school. Having these soccer goals would have a tremendous positive impact on them and allow them to play a sport they wouldn't have the opportunity to participate in otherwise.
