I am the social worker at an ECE through 6th grade school! I work individually with students who are struggling with challenges. I also run small groups with students who are working through similar issues. For example, this year we will have a girls empowerment group in which 6th grade girls will mentor girls from younger grades. In addition to individual and small group work, I also help implement a variety of social-emotional school-wide interventions, such as positive behavioral incentive supports and mindfulness.
