Middle School is an adventure, and it is one that I am thrilled to be on. I have taught for over 20 years, in different grades and even different states, but I have found my passion. Middle School Science. My students come to school with a diverse set of backgrounds both socially and economically. It is my job to level the playing field so to speak. Science speaks to everyone. In my Science class I like to turn the abstract into concrete. We do as much 'Hands On" Science as we possible can. If I can take an idea from the textbook and make it an activity then the students can connect to it in a more real way. I will go anywhere, get anything, try any crazy idea to help my students to understand something. If it will make Science come alive for my class I will bring it to these children. Science is my passion and I want to share it with all my students in Middle School.
