Students will learn to use Chromebook features to organize, write, and present school (and, in the future, work) assignments, research papers, graphs, and resumes. Additionally, they will create files and folders and use the cloud for storage. Students will develop skills to effectively use a Chromebook as a tool for success, both in the classroom and in their personal life. Daily access to a computer will allow students to practice using a variety of applications to complete written assignments, increase typing speed, effectively use a talk-to-type feature, maintain files set up to store completed assignments and send assignments to teachers on time. These are only a few areas where my students struggle and need to learn how to effectively use a computer as a tool for success.
