One of the best ways to build a love for reading and build vocabulary is by reading. My main goal for students each year is to build a love for reading. I have done this by setting aside money each year to help build my classroom library. Students get excited when they can start the year with a wide range of books to choose from. They also need to have their library replenished throughout the year. They are given time in class and at home to read, discuss and share what they are reading to family and peers. Help me to make this possible for my students.
