Students will create a portrait of themselves to show their unique personalities and an understanding of various art styles from famous artists. We will study art history so they can determine if they want their art to be like Picasso or Pollack, Monet or Van Gogh, Kahlo or Rivera, or many other famous artists they will research from medieval times to the present. My students are in a Title I school and can barely afford basic school supplies. They need color in their lives, and I want them to proudly display their creativity. Help Me Help Them. Thank you! ART MATTERS.
