Students will use Alexa to open pathways to learning and become engrossed in the curriculum. I see Alexa as a focal point of our classroom if funded. Alexa will be used to help auditory students not only become better readers and spellers, but will expose them to new books and genres. Alexa will help with everything from small tasks like spelling and basic math problems, to more complex tasks like helping us find multiple resources for projects. The possibilities are endless! I envision Alexa reading to us and helping us dive deeper into the curriculum, such as California Missions and the Iditarod. Alexa will become a part of our classroom. Students at our school love technology and love to be exposed to things they may not see in their normal lives. Alexa can help us open ideas/worlds we never knew existed.
