The reading games and activities will be used to reinforce my students' reading comprehension and fluency skills. When playing reading games, my students will learn to work collaboratively in order to complete various reading tasks using a game approach.
As future leaders, my students will read about famous Americans in history while improving their reading fluency through readers' theatre and classroom performances.
These materials will make a difference in my students' learning and improve their school lives by giving them opportunities to experience learning in fun and engaging ways.
These materials will also support my students' social emotional learning because they will have many opportunities to work together in small groups to eat play reading games or rehearse the plays. Considering that many of my students suffer with trauma, this will be a great way to channel their energy towards something positive.
