The donations for this project will improve our classroom environment by providing appropriate seating options that promote physical activity and movement in a developmentally appropriate way. Right now, there is no carpeting in our classroom. Students are not as likely to sit on the cold, hard floor. The carpet will allow students to move around and get comfortable while reading or working together collaboratively. We will also be able to all sit together during whole group instruction time. The Hokki stools will allow our neediest, busy six and seven year olds to get their wiggles out while maintaining focus during instruction.
