Students need motivation...it does not always come from them. I love to reward positive behavior or improvement in academics. A prize wheel would be a fun and exciting way for students to receive rewards. I have fun coupons for students as a reward such as Lunch With Teacher or Stinky Feet Day. I would love to use the wheel to write the different types of coupons so the students can spin for them. I also love the idea of the applause button. I could use this for when students present their writing or just have an amazing response to a story we have read. I love to do use dry erase boards for responses instead of paper and pencil all the time. The students get more excited and motivated to respond.
