My students need chrome books to access digital curriculum and work independently in small group according to their IEPs. Due to the lack of funding, we do not have a 1:1 ratio and the existing computers do not support the digital curriculum. The new digital curriculum provides auditory support and excellent graphics. The digital curriculum allows slower pacing and the necessary reinforcement needed for mastery. Yes, this is the 21st century and my scholars are waiting for curriculum to upload and download in our classroom. Chrome Books are also a good resource for scholars to do research and explore the world. This will give them global exposure and prepare them for real life demands and decrease the digital divide. It is my belief that all children should have the same resources in education regardless of economic and geographic circumstances
