My project is putting technology in the hands of young learners. I will send them on virtual field trips all over the country with the goal of exposing them to more of the outside world. Second grade students will begin learning how to research by researching the area we intend to "visit" on the field trip. Investing in my students by supporting this project is investing in their future. Our classrooms have not "caught up" with the technology in the real world. By exposing the students to more technology in the classroom, we will give them a headstart on the technology of the future.
