Our family consumer science classroom does not have any sewing stations for our students. Several of our students expressed the interest in learning to sew and we would love to introduce them to how to use machines, cut patterns, iron fabric and create finished projects!
Our students want to learn life skills and the classroom is the best environment for them to learn something new!
We are requesting 1 sewing machine, 1 iron, 1 ironing board, 2 pairs of scissors (1 for fabric , 1 for snipping threads). These items will be the start to a sewing station that will give all the students the chance to learn how to sew.
