These materials will help my students with our goal to be better readers because these are books they will be able to relate too. Many of my students are involved with school sports and look up to guys like Kobe Bryant and Lebron James. So, having those books about those individuals will encourage them to read more. The other books will allow the students to read stories that they can relate to like the Bluford High Series. A lot of my students could be going through those same issues and it could help see someone else is going through it.

About my class
