Because my students are constantly learning new vocabulary and new concepts, a mount and cables for our projector is necessary to keep class moving forward without interruption.
Our classroom is small and for students to be able to move between activities - from the computer area to the reading area to the journaling area - we need to get our projector out of the middle of the room.
Unfortunately, these students sometimes feel marginalized - even in a great school like mine - and knowing that they have technology equal to what other teachers have will further serve to make them feel included. They are, after all, a vital part of our school community.
