I want them to feel the rush of color, the creamy textures of quality materials. A new box of the finest crayons when we were in elementary school gave me a desire to create. I want the older high school students to get that back. That intense spark of creation is a need to end depression. I want them to feel the rush that making fantastic things will give. I want the best for them so they will appreciate the product they make. The child knows the difference between discount, leftover stuff and the best expensive materials. The tired out feeling of this city permeates the work ethic. Apathy has become a disease. I want fine art to be an anxiety lift and want that feeling for my young artists. I want to purchase the finest artist color pencils for them a set of Prismacolor pencils for each student.
