These books will create a class set for my students to use for in depth novel studies. We currently do not have class sets of novels. It is very important for my students to be able to collaboratively study a novel and have a class discussions. It will increase critical thinking skills which they will carry with them throughout their academic careers. The students in my room get so excited when new and interesting texts are brought into the room. I want to provide them with this excitement when reading so that they continue to have a love of reading as they transition to middle school next year.

About my class
