These books will give students increased access to the 2017-2018 Sunshine State Books. Though my students are on varying reading levels, my goal is to have all students read at least 3 of them. I hope that by having a classroom set of the Sunshine State Books, it will make it easier for students to get their hands on them and interact with them. I also hope to group students to discuss the Sunshine State Books they have read in order to increase literacy, comprehension and classroom community. With the extra set in addition to the sets in the Media Center, I believe it will be easier to achieve this goal.

About my class
