My kids struggle with basic skills that typical kids pick up naturally. Communication involves body language, gestures, facial expressions, intonation etc. These materials will help my kids with special needs learn fundamental skills in speech, language, and social areas and apply them to the world around them. Kids learn through a variety of sense: smell, touch, vision, taste, auditory, and proprioception (where their body is in space). My kids will learn to expand their vocabulary, correct their grammar, and be able to establish connections with peers and adults in their environment. Becoming an independent individual in society is the ultimate goal for many of my kids (and their parents!), and these materials will help them reach milestones to achieve this goal.
