Our approach to STEM and helping our students get excited about STEM is to make it relatable. We integrate into their every day curriculum and continuously provide them examples of STEM is used in their every day lives. LEGOS are a medium that is so relatable to 5th graders. Whether or not they have them at home, most have had a chance to use them in school, childcare, etc...This makes the LEGO WeDo a perfect platform to introduce them to robotics and coding and help them unlock power of their imaginations. This becomes a great lead in to Engineering, helping them to understand that by following a process and applying their science knowledge, they can change the world someday.
