My students need a way to communicate. The Cheap Talk 8 would be great for my students to be able to communicate their needs during snack, and during their daily routine. The BigMack will help my students be able to communicate by using a button that can program sentences. The BigMack allows my students to be able to participate within large and small group activities using this button. The iPad gives students many opportunities to build their social, and cognitive skills. The iPad can also be used as communicative device for students who are non-verbal. The iPad is a great teacher tool to collect and graph data to show progress to parents. The one-answer buttons gives students easy access to a voice to help promote social skills with their peers and teachers.
Donating these items will help my students increase their social and cognitive skills, be able to communicate their wants and needs, and building their confidence to help them succeed in the classroom.
