I teach at a title one funded school. Ninety eight percent of my students are considered at-risk because they receive free breakfast and lunch. Forty percent of my students are being raised in single parent homes, and thirty percent are being raised by a grandparent. Even though most of them don't come to school with the necessary tools for learning, they are still very eager to learn!
