We are doing a lot of studying, reading, exploring, and learning about myths, legends, and other types of fantasy. My students are really interested in learning about Greek mythology. As a way to engage my students in learning about history, we would love to read Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve our classroom library, you will help my students to read a high-interest book about Greek mythology. My students are accustomed to reading books with a group of peers and having weekly discussions. This project will help us to enhance our learning experience while providing us with more practice to discuss, challenge, and grow from the perspectives of other people.
