Interactive notebooks are a powerful learning tool. They will help my students learn to organize their thoughts, accommodate multiple learning styles at one time, help reduce clutter, and much more. My students will use these notebooks to take notes, practice material, and reflect on their learning.
Using interactive notebooks make learning more meaningful and fun. Students use their creativity to take ownership of their learning. They use color to make their notes come alive and stand out. The students in my class need a printer and ink to make this possible. Many of our notebook activities require coloring and many of my students do not have crayons. The glue sticks will be used to glue materials into their notebook. Lastly, the students need organizing bins to place work into when it is unfinished. This project will encourage pride in student work and allow students to review previously taught material all year long.
