Receiving iPad's would allow my students to explore the world around them. Students would have the ability to explore the technology world around them. They would be able to research topics of interest, practice core skills through the use of online games and activities, take virtual field trips, and collaborate with other students. They could use QR codes to participate in online research projects. Finally, students could read enhanced eBooks featuring images, videos and audio. These elements are impossible to include in print or a standard eBook. We need to adapt classrooms and students to reach the 21st Century Learner.
