I teach students from all around the world. They are in 3rd through 5th Grade in Saint Paul, Minnesota. All are English Language Learners, most of whom are refugees. In addition, they are students with limited or interrupted formal education (SLIFE). Regardless of where they are from and what language(s) they speak, they are eager to learn and have a zest for life!
Our school has a very high population of students living in poverty.
It currently does not receive enough financial support to provide all of the necessary learning tools our students need to be successful. They have overcome so much in their young lives and I want to provide them with a strong educational foundation so they continue to succeed!
About my class
