The students attending our Arts and Science Elementary School come from various backgrounds. Most of them come from low socioeconomic backgrounds, and receive free or reduced price lunch. Unfortunately, our school, which receives Title I funding, lacks many of the resources and funding necessary for my students to have access to the materials they desperately need. Despite the lack of resources, my students demonstrate an eagerness to learn and grow both academically and socially. In line with the vision of our school, they effortlessly celebrate the uniqueness of each other and are open to learn and grow together.
