My classroom is a 3RD/4TH classroom with typical and students with Disabilities included in the general educationclassroom at Roselawn Condon Elementary School within the Cincinnati Public School District. Most of the population at our school is eligible for free or reduced lunch. It is a community of high needs. I have eight students with various levels of needs. Diagnosis includes autism, developmental delays, other health impairment and cerebal palsy. All my students receive related services in the classroom such as speech and language services, physical therapy and occupational therapy. Many of my students are non verbal and/or have limited communication skills, but they are still very motivated to learn and participate in all activities. My classroom is a place where there is fun, laughter, and sometimes struggles as they learn new skills and a great place to work every day.
