New calculators will allow the students to have a more streamlined experience in their Math class. Currently we have a hodge-podge of calculators all different brands. This makes for extreme confusion when trying to find the correct sequence of buttons to use.
While Math is not necessarily a fun topic for anyone, brand new supplies will get even the most struggling student excited to be in class. The students are asked to show their work and proper steps daily for full credit on their assignments. Many of these students cannot afford to have their own material, including something as simple as lined paper.
